Fishing? Boring. Not for Mr. Samuel Liu and Mrs. Eunice Kong, and the many anglers in the fishing community! With the ever-challenger spirit, the avid anglers had travelled far and out to fulfil their passion for fishing. They have travelled around the world just to target big game fish like Mekong, Sailfish and Arapiama. With years of fishing experience and adventures, they decided to bring some of these big game fishing back to Singapore.
Freshwater big game fishing is getting more popular in Singapore as more and more people are travelling to Thailand to battle the famous Mekong, Redtail Catfish and Arapaima. The aim to allow fellow anglers experience the thrill of freshwater big game and at a affordable rate were their goal to achieve.
Fishing Paradise is the brainchild of two aspiring young entrepreneurs, Mr. Samuel Liu and Mrs. Eunice Kong, who first met as members of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Anglers' Club in 2004. Five years on, in one of their conversations, the idea of starting a Catch and Release fishing pond was sparked off. This spark eventually became a reality with the birth of Fishing Paradise. |
